Nishane Ani is an extrait de parfum from the Turkish house’s No Boundaries collection, and it is the fragrance that made vanilla a Nishane signature. Composed by Cecile Zarokian in 2019 and named after the ancient ruined city of Ani on the Anatolian border, it opens bright and green with bergamot, ginger and pink pepper, then turns rich through blackcurrant, Turkish rose and cardamom. The base is where it settles for the long haul: vanilla, benzoin, patchouli, cedarwood, sandalwood, ambergris and musk, warm and spicy without ever turning sugary.
